EIP-backed Guardian Infrastructure Services Acquires E2 Consulting Engineers

E2 Consulting Engineers (E2) has joined the newly formed Guardian platform, designed to support our continued growth, operational investment, and expanded capabilities across the utility services sector.

In connection with the transaction, E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. will officially become E2 Consulting Engineers, LP, reflecting our new ownership structure and alignment with the Guardian platform.

E2 welcomes Greg Ricks, as CEO of E2, and Board Chairman of the Guardian platform. His decades of leadership and utility experience will support E2’s next phase of growth and help advance the broader Guardian platform strategy.

E2’s day-to-day operations and management structure remain intact. Hersh Saluja will continue to serve as President of E2’s Professional Services, providing continuity and leadership for employees, clients, and partners as E2 joins the Guardian platform.

E2 continues to support critical utility infrastructure programs tied to electricity, gas, and water reliability, wildfire mitigation, integrity management, pipeline safety and compliance, utility undergrounding, infrastructure modernization, and broader grid investment initiatives.

The acquisition of E2 and the creation of the Guardian platform by Energy Impact Partners (EIP) strengthen E2’s engineering and technical services capabilities, adding expertise across utility transmission and distribution, substation engineering, inspection, utility program delivery, and management services.
