E2 is thrilled to announce that it has been selected to partner with AECOM to support a utility client in meeting its wildfire mitigation and strategic undergrounding goals. The program will mitigate wildfire risk and improve electrical safety by placing overhead electrical power lines underground. This critical safety program will aim to improve the resiliency of the electric distribution system and reduce public safety power shutoff events by undergrounding select overhead lines in high fire threat areas. In partnership with AECOM, E2 will provide a variety of key services, including PMO and project controls, project management, supply chain management, PMIS and reporting, and technology solutions. We look forward to supporting our client in meeting its important goals, especially those relating to safety and wildfire mitigation.
